- Freelance videographer and writer for BBC The Social.
- The role involves writing articles and scripts, on-screen presentation and editing footage, as well as assisting at events.
- My work has been featured on the home page of the BBC website.
Ericsson (Red Bee Media) – 2014 – present
- Subtitler for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and UKTV among others.
- Creating transcripts for presentation to a nationwide audience, including research, proofing and live television work using specialist software – everything from BBC News to Game of Thrones.
- Creating and editing cultural and informative content for in-house magazine.
- Assisting in the training of new members of staff, reviewing the subtitles of my co-workers and organising student visits.
Dark Arts Ltd – 2012 – 2018
- Completed a self-sourced music journalism work experience in the London office of Terrorizer magazine.
- Assisted in production through transcription, subediting, design, copywriting, interviews and clerical tasks.
- Continued to contribute as a freelance writer, covering local and foreign events, including on-site reports, reviews and features.
Brig – 2011 – 2012
- Music editor of the University of Stirling’s student newspaper.
